For a while now I have been feeling very tired all the time...I can sleep for 10 hours and still be tired all day. More recently I have been experiencing itchy "lady bits" and a feeling of hot, tingly and itchy hands and feet as well. I am wondering if maybe these are signs of diabetes? I also cant lose weight even though I`m not eating excessivly. Any advice please.

If you're concerned you might be diabetic, you need a quick trip to your GP for a blood test. It's no good trying to guess from symptoms. Good luck, Malc

you do of course need to get checked out by your GP as already wisely suggested.
if it helps in the meantime -
tiredness can be a symptom, yes, but also can be a symptom of lots of things
itchy lady bits is a fairly common symptom, but can also happen if you are run down for some other reason
itchy hands and feet - not heard of that as a symptom
not being able to lose weight - this certainly isn't a symptom of Type 1 diabetes, could possibly be linked to Type 2, but again many many other factors could be in play here.

How thirsty are you? Many of us become hugely, insanely, bucket-emptyingly thirsty when blood sugars are high. If you are drinking all the time and thinking about drinking even when you are not drinking, and going for a wee all the times you aren't actually drinking, and sometimes sitting on the toilet drinking out of a bottle and weeing at the same time....that's a very common symptom of diabetes!
If you are thirsty all the time, go to the doctor (obviously), and in the meantime make sure you only drink water and diet drinks - not sugary drinks, as they will only make things worse.

Good luck! If you are diabetic, there are lots of us here willing to help.
