im on lantus and metformin,bloods got high so dr lowered my lantus a few mnths ago,then ive had to slowly bump it bk up ,in previous threads ive said about my bloods bein irregular, my dr says im doing fine as i was seeing him monthly,i didnt think i was as my readings were approx 6/8mmol b4 a meal and quite often 11/12 on a night b4 food,my other problem was hypos especially in the night,hence y my dr doesnt mind my bloods being so high on a night,i can have supper on a night and still wake up hypo in the early hrs,anyway my bs has been like this since friday ..4.0,8.3,8.2,8.0 saturday,8.3,6.2,4.3,7.0 sunday 3.5,9.2,4.7,8.1 yesterday 3.3,4.2,3.3,6.9,11.7,3.3 then again early this morning 3.2 ive lowered my insulin by 2 units as advised by my dr but now the ones that were highish will just go a lot higher as ive been ere before,my last hba1c was 7.7 and as ive said b4 my dr thinks im fine,im sick of the highs and lows it makes me feel so ruff,i ended up in tears last night as 3 hypos yesterday was too much,any advice please say as im getting so fed up
