Hi

I'm well aware that the forums should not be used to sell anything, but I don't know how else to find out the information I'm looking for - please bear with me, even if you tell me that this posting isn't possible.

I'm looking for a way of selling a 10 year old "S" type Jaguar SE with specially enlarged pedal (for automatic driving) but also adapted for driving with hand controls if required.

This was my husband's car - he died in June this year and was Type 2 diabetic for the previous 13 years with partial amputation of right foot. This was the only car he could drive safely with his foot neuropathy, and he subsequently had (optional) hand controls fitted just in case, but unfortunately we never got to that situation - he had heart problem, too.

I just can't help thinking that someone, somewhere, must have exactly the problems he had, and I'd love to be able to sell this car very reasonably to that someone before I go in the other direction and remove all the adaptions. Is this something you could help with? Or signpost me in the right direction?

Thanks for reading this far!

Will leave the post here. Anyone interested can PM Maricia.

You can also go down the road of advertising in ' Autotrader', or any of the local free papers.

Strictly speaking we do not accept adverts but this is a one off given the circumstances.
