Advice re pump holder belt clip

Hi all
I have recently changed from a medtronic paradigm to an accu-chek combo and I am struggling to find a suitable holder. The ones that came with the pump are for attaching to belts, but as a woman, I quite often am not wearing a belt and want one with a clip I can fasten to clothes. I paid £15 for what looked the closest to the one I had a transparent holder with a clip attached but the clip just slides onto clothing (the other one had to be squeezed to open and close) hence it is continually falling off and swinging down pulling my canula out. It was a complete waste of money and the medtronic accessories don't fit. I have written to accu-chek but in the meantime I am really struggling.
All advice greatly received.

I know what you mean about the clear plastic holder, originally the clear plastic holder came with a proper clip but alas they changed it..

The do a skin, which comes with a yard line..

You might be lucky to find a camera case or a phone case with a clip or perhaps one of these with a soft cover that you can adapt with a clip sewn on!

Other ideas is sewing a toddler's sock inside cloths to make a pocket to drop the pump in!
 
my daughter has just started with the same pump and we are also struggling to get the clip to stop falling off. its really putting her off using the pump. we trialled with the medtronic which has a great clip. does the transparent sports clip have the same mechanisim?
 
I'm really surprised that Accu chek no longer supply the clear transparant case type clip holder that they once did. I've still got mine and I would imagine that unless the shape of the Spirit pump has changed, the old clip holder case should fit or am I wrong?
 
Rang Accu Chek the other day, was told to look on there website, Wasn't that impressed with what they had, don't like the idea of a lanyard. I have got the black clip, bit bulky though. It's a shame they don't just do a basic one, that would attatch to belt or pocket, keep it simple, there are alot of bright coloured ones out there
 
I have been reading the problems everyone has been having with where to put their pump. My daughter is 8 and has had a pump for about 1.5 years and I have been experimenting with all different types of pump belts/ pouches. I have come up with a wide elastic belt with a pouch sewn onto it and have thought about making and selling them. Do you think this would be something any of you would be willing to use/buy? I have also made one for another 8 year old girl using a pump and she hasn't taken it off since I gave it to her but I'd like to know what other people think? Thanks
 
What exactly does it look like? not being funny, but I just would like something basic, that the pump is secure in & doesn't stick out like a sore thumb
 
During the day my Combo pump is inside my bra cup - slightly diagonal so that its also partly under my armpit. Its not in a case, skin or baby sock. I don't really know that it's there most of the time. It never falls out as my bra cup stops it.
