Type 1 Advise please

Just a quick one. I'm starting cancer treatment next week and it is going to put me in the menopause. Is there any T1 ladies that have been through the menopause and if so, has it effected your blood sugar levels?. Thank you in advance ;o)

Hi! I went through early menopause when I was 16. I hadn't been diagnosed at that stage but have been on HRT throughout. I think but I'm not 100% sure that if you take HRT it may keep your levels more stable as you won't be having monthly periods. I may be completely wrong but that's how I've always looked at it. Thank you, already had surgery a few weeks ago and going to have a bit of radiotherapy soon. Having hormone treatment for five years, deep joy lol. Thanks again x
