Africa - Rwanda and Liberia

I am type II diabetic and control it orally with medication. I have the offer of working in Rwanda and Liberia, Africa and wondered whether my diabetes will conflict with this. I will be coming back to the UK every 6 months for the duration of my contract. Does any body know if I can easily obtain my medicine out there. Has anybody had, or know of, experience of diabetes in Africa. Can anyone suggest how I go about managing my diabetes in Africa.

From other replies I have seen on here, you can get prescribed 3 months worth of medication for when you are away.
