have been flicking through all the posts and cant find no info on alchohol im on meterformin it says avoid alchohol but sureley you can have a couple or not what about other meds cant you drink on theese
 
Every medication that you get should have an information leaflet with it.Check through these and you will find which ones say do not drink with them.if in doubt ask either your doctor or the local pharmacist.
 
IME it's overkill. Excessive drinking is not a good plan but many people have the occasional drink with no problems on metformin.
