I go out once a week on a Saturday, how much can a diabetic have to drink, I have a couple of pints of Smiths and a couple of Brandy's with diet lemonade, am i ok with this?

I too was on the same meds as you, and regularly have a glass or two of wine with no problems at all.

That's no problem Coopes. I drink a lot more than that sometimes! Got a stag night tomorrow, so will be going for it! All it ever does is give me nice low BGs
 
How much can you drink,

Well frankly I dont know, as i seem to have "lost the limit" since being diabetic, not that i go out on the lash very often as my mates say that its too expensive to take me as they all fall over long before me, LOL ( sounds very irrisponsible i know, )

My DSN recommended that i try to stay under 14 units a week, and most of the time I do keep to that ,
 
Not an easy question stay within the docs recommended daily unit allowance and then how much you can drink depends on the sugar content of the particular drink, don't go mad on the cider
