alpha-lipoic acid

Hello,

Has anyone tried alpha-lipoic acid to help with their diabetes control?
I've heard good stuff about alpha-lipoic acid. Just wanted to know of people's experience of this supplement before I purchase some. Will try anything to help with my battle controlling my blood sugars.
