That recipe is fab and so adaptable. I often add nigella seeds or black onion seed, or maybe fresh coriander. I also add sweetener allspice and cinnamon to make a sweet-ish scone substitute.
I also use that recipe it is the same as the one in the Tom Kerridge Dopamine Diet book. It is not a roti but a good substitute with a Curry. That recipe is fab and so adaptable. Why dont you try the wonderful keto Low Carb mediterranean flat bread, its amazing, so easy to make, being flat bread you can mop up all wonderful juices, sauces with it, and not feel guilty.......... Here we go, but look on www.dietdoctor.comHello,
Roti/Indian bread is a staple for me. I have now found that it spikes me a lot and I am looking for alternates to eat once/twice a day with usual veggies etc.
I have tried brown rice and they also dont seem to sit well with me for now. I am trying KETO way of living and in order to sustain, i need to find an alternate for indian bread/roti.
What do other use?
Ragi is a form of millet and seems to be about 80% carbs so probably not suitable for the OPYou can try ragi roti or ragi dosa.
Don’t know the recipe of ragi roti.
Ragi dosa
Ragi powder + curd + salt + chopped onion+ chopped coriander leaves +water
Make it quite watery
Pour it on a nonstick tava coated with oil.
Cover and cook on low flame.
Takes a while to cook
Turn the dosa and let it cook on both sides.
You can eat it with chuney or with egg white omelette.
These are indeed excellent recipes. I am going to try making the Keto fat crisps
