Alternative CGMs

Hi all,

I was looking through Diasend and have seen that they have added “Glucomen Day CGM” as a data source.

Has anyone ever bought this and used this? I’ve been researching and researching and cannot find the price or ways of obtaining it.

If anyone has any detail on this then it would be helpful

@TypeZero. , I'm surprised you didn't find anything. I typed in Glucomen Day and lots came up, including their webshop.

Looks like there may be significantly less waste than dexcom (which it otherwise looks very similar to) , you'll need to calibrate every 24 hours.

a study on its accuracy. Time lag is 11 minutes.

I'd consider it if it was available in NZ.

Hi,

I'm based in the UK and looking to get this in the next few weeks - self-funded. It's quite a new system but as EllieM points out - so much less waste than the Dexcom G6! I'm really into trying to reduce my waste and pollution so that's a bit win for me.
There's a blog - diabettech, which talks about the experiences of use in the first day - I think the writer is going to do a follow up of how they found it after use for a few weeks.
