Type 1 Alton Towers / rollercoasters and pumps

Strange question, possibly, but has anyone been on a rollercoaster wearing their pump? I’m off to Alton Towers tomorrow and had a nightmare last night that my pump fell off and was lost!! Am thinking about removing it each time for the few minutes and leaving it in bag on the ground.

The advice is to remove pumps before getting on a roller coaster.
The reason for this is that the strong magnets on the ride can damage the mechanics in the pump.

DO NOT GO ON ROLLERCOASTERS WITH A PUMP.
