Going back to the GP next week, feel full nearly all the time even when I'm due for a meal, this has been going on for years, she doesn't seem that concerned because my weight in constant, she just gives me the same old advice to eat 3 meals a day, have told her so many times that it's hard when you don't feel hungry and I also don't know how much to eat, I'm also burping constantly, I do have a gall stone but it stays in the gall bladder because it's too big to come out, could that be the problem? Any one else experienced this

You are describing a problem I have had for years. In my case it was caused by a succession of drugs which irritated my stomach, iron tablets for anaemia, naproxen for arthritis and finally when those were discontinued a series of ACE inhibitor drugs, which were supposed to protect my kidneys but actually gave me a gastric ulcer.

Have a good look at the patient information leaflet for any drug you are taking at the moment. Try the NHS website for any information on side effects as well. If your problems are side effects of what your doctor has prescribed, it may be possible to switch to a different drug which does the same job without those side effects. It might be worth trying to see another doctor in the practice as well. Don't give up because one doctor doesn't listen.
