am i on my way to being diabetic?

Why, the doctor has been correct in saying all the figures are normal.
True. But a fasting blood glucose in the normal range is not definitive in ruling out diabetes. My fasting blood glucose was in the normal range, but my A1c showed I was diabetic. :hungover: Of course, maybe the OP had a normal A1C result as well. Perhaps @StephenSmithG should get a copy of his lab results.:meh:

I only had the fasting glucose test. I'm quite worried that I am diabetic as I get quite tired after I eat a meal. I'm almost sure it's diabetes but my doctor says I don't have it :(

Get a blood glucose meter and test yourself. :nurse:

You do seem to be looking for a medical problem , only a dr can give you that ...
Best wishes ....

You're 24, not 50, you don't have a BMI in the thirties, you don't have a high BS result, exercise after eating, you'll feel less tired.

Ok I was diagnosed type 2 diabetic in February this year. The doctor advised me there were two different medications I could try. I said I would like to try without medication. I went low carb and a wee bit of fat. My HbA1c has dropped from 67 to 35 in 6 months. I would have been on meds if I had just agreed.
