Ok was being treated for type 2 for 2 years metformin and other stuff then they decided I was type 1 as had antibodies. Fine with that, daughter has type 1 from 8 and now 20 so know what I am doing. Something is not right though she injects at 2.5 units to 10 carbs I inject .5 units to 10 carbs in the morning and evening and .2 units to 10 carbs for lunch and I am still hypoing two hours later at work. I have 4 units levemire in the morning and 9 at night. I even forgot the levemire last night and was only 11 when I woke and still hypoed two hours after dinner... I had 120 carbs and injected 2.5 units with correction. The last couple of days I have not been injecting for dinner as carbs were only about 60 odd and was 6 by tea time. Wondering what is going on, honeymoon period does not last 2 1/2 years I know. How can I be so sensitive to insulin? Is my pancreas just faulty and not diabetes at all? Thanks in advance.
