Amazed or Concerned? You Decide.

Dictators who positively go out of their way to force misery, tears and fears, upon their countryman's lives.
Politicians who, in dealing with dictators, have a wishbone where a backbone should be.

I've have had these images for some time now. You may have seen her before.
Unfortunately I've lost all the info however, as you see she's a robot, she was made in Japan,(?)
she can talk and sing. (for now)

The technology behind her is incredible, awesome, fascinating and extremely professional,
but, where is it all leading to? How far are they prepared to go with the advancement of
this technology?
Will the entire program be advantageous to mankind? Well, yes I think so.
Will it eventually be used for negative purposes? Well, yes, I think that's a distinct possibility.

Hope it's of interest to anyone.

Have to say though, I just can't help being full of admiration for the inventors.
I'm both amazed and concerned at the same time though.
 
I think it's the stuff we DON'T know about that's potentially more amazing. Can you imagine the kind of technologies that are being developed in secret?

Very true Giverny, never thought of that...good point.

Mind you, perhaps it's just as well we're not aware of the goings on behind closed doors.

Might just frighten the pants off us all.
