Hi everyone,

Basically to cut a long story short,I've had type 1 diabetes 20 years in January (2017) and I have neglected it in the past and experienced a lot of complications and experienced a lot,my mum also has type 1 diabetes and has had it for 49 years, currently she is experiencing quite a lot of complications and as I write this is in hospital. It's lead me to thinking about becoming an ambassador for young people and parents who have type 1 or there children have type 1,and are struggling to come to terms with it or have just been diagnosed.
I'd like to be able to do this as a full time job and teach them, reach out to them,be there if they need me,but unfortunately as always life throws a curveball and you think we'll how could I do that but still survive with no income in doing so,so I was just really hoping someone who reads this would be able to help, maybe some information,or someone they know who could help,or someone they know that has managed to do a similar thing.

If anyone could get back to me,I would really really really appreciate it.

Thanks
Liam
