Amytriptiline and blood sugars

Just browsing the BNF (as you do!) and find that it says amytriptiline can alter blood sugars. My diagnosis came 6 months after I started amytriptiline, wondering if there's a link?

Anyone else any experience or advice?

There is an extensive list of prescribed medications that can alter blood sugars. Some raise them, some lower them and some can either raise or lower them.

Thanks for that, interestingly amytriptiline isn't on the list!......but it does definitely say it in the BNF.
