An open letter in support of sanity!

All those who 'know' me know that I generally don't get involved in the ridiculous wranglings of diabetes forums and blogs. However, I must speak in support of Desi and Paul over the issue of DUK. This is the body which represents ALL diabetics in the UK whether we like it or not. The only voice we have and the only group the Government listens to. We don't vote for them and we have no choice. How dare they hold a tea party with the message that bread and cakes are OK for diabetics. Shame on them! They are the most influential lobby group in th country in relation to diabetes and they let us down time and time again.

I know Desi has tried his best to work with them to try to influence them for the good of us all. He continues to do this when most of us have given up. Paul was supporting this when he got banned from DCUK for daring to show his support. Shame on DCUK too!!!
