I have been told today that I need an iron infusion because I have very bad levels of Anaemia, so I am wondering if having anaemia can also cause high levels in the blood as mine does not seem to want to go down no matter what I eat or not eat?
There's been research that indicates that while being anemic doesn't cause hypo's, it can give a high reading when one isn't actually high, and people on insulin might overshoot because of it. So do be careful and take your measurements with a grain of salt until you have had your infusion. Just err on the side of caution a little, I'd guess?
Well had a blood test yesterday as my7 levels went high even after exercise, so they checked for infections and low and behold came back very high so have to see the Doctor later today see what the problem is , never rains but it pours
