Hi, not sure if this the correct place to post this, but here goes! I have had symptoms of anaemia for the last six months, but docs say it only mild, Hb 115 - 130, Ferritin 45. I know this only just qualifies as mild, as far as NICE is concerned, but the symptoms have completely changed my life. I like to go for runs and mountain bike, etc, but now can only walk a few miles, and then I have to have a sleep 
. I am often very lethargic and have low mood. Good job I'm retired as I could not do a job. I have heard that having chronic condition like T1D can make the blood numbers questionable, i.e. the Ferritin may actually be falsely raised. I would be interested to hear from anybody who has experienced of have knowledge f this situation. Any help gratefully accepted.
