Germany!

I can't see Spain beating the German's after last night's performance, fancy the German's to go on and win the 2010 World Cup, what do others think?

Paul (octopus) says Germany is going to win. He hasn't been wrong up to now :!:
 
Yes daisy, after they embarrassed us last week I said they would go on to win it. Just hope we fair better in the Euro in 2 years time! :roll:

Paul has just ruled that Spain is going to beat Germany. So now he has two opinions.

BTW I supported two teams - UK and Switzerland. Thanks to refs' dubious decisions both teams
lost.

I have to disagree here Nigel. Germany didn't embarrass England.
England Embarrased themselves...and the rest of us.

My son was telling me all about this Octopus yesterday! :lol:

In fairness Spain were by far the better team and deserved to win last night. I'm not going to call the winner of Sundays final after failing miserably with predicting Germany to win the cup! :roll:

So did the octopus fail miserably by predicting Germany as the big winner :!: I haven't heard if he's going to make a revised prediction. Easy to say who's going to win when you give several opinions :!:

No Daisy, in last nights semi-final Paul the Octopus predicted Spain to win over Germany, have a look at the following:

Nigel, you've got it wrong - reread my posts In your quote 'the big winner' means the Champion.
Paul wrongly predicted that Germany would be the Champion early on.

Now the Germans are angry with Paul for his prediction that Spain would beat Germany - as if he jinxed last night's match. They were discussing recipes with octopus in them :!:
