Hi guys - been on the Vibe now for around 4 months and have been experimenting with the combi bolus feature and would appreciate some advice. Last night had a bit of a carb fest for tea and had two jacket potatoes with chillie totalling 117 g carbs. Normally a Jacket spud i give a normal bolus which seems to work out fine but due to the higher carb thought i would give a combi bolus of 65/35 over 2 hrs with a 5 min pre bolus - (insulin is Fiasp) - my levels seemed to be completley stable at 6.3 for 2 hrs but then started to drop - at the 2 hr 15 mark i was at 4.9 trending down with 4.55 units still on board so gave myself an additianal 30 g to prevent any hypo which seemed to work going to bed on 6.7. Initially though my IC ratio needed changing but for the past number of weeks my IC ratio at tea seems spot on. My question is if the 65/35 split over two hrs was correct... if a change was needed any advice as to what to change? ... was the initial 65% upfront correct? do you thing this should be changed or should the duration be changed and extended for longer?... if the duration should have been for a longer period then surley i would have been much higher over the 2 hrs?.. totally confused with the combi bolus and how best to use it and how to identify if the split or duration needs changing. Hope this makes sence Thanks
