Ankle injuries - long term problems

Hi
Just a quick question if you were hit on the ankle with a "cage" as in the supermarket (but not a super market version) on your ankle and initially there is no bruising or swelling, but it is aggravating an old 2008 injury of a sprained ankle (class 2 that took 22 months to heal).

What are the long term possible complications as regards the health of the foot, e.g. circulation and other Type 2 related problems -that's if there are any.

Currently it is just aching , when I woke up today and I can cope with that, as that what it did during the last 6 months of the healing process.

Thanks

Michael
p.s no I have not seen a doctor yet to discuss the matter as it happened last night

Hi,

There is nobody here qualifies to answer your question.
The best course of action is to see a Dr. and make sure that you have not done any permanent damage. He should examine the pulse in your foot to make sure the circulation has not been affected.
Hope this helps.
