I have decided to take the bull by the horns and give low carbing a go. I am about 3 stone overweight and have tried most diets and slimming clubs but always struggle with dieting and my control. I've read through a few of the threads and and as usual have some questions. I am determined this is going to work for me and have cut down my carbs this morning and my sugar levels are better already than they have ever been! So here goes with a few questions:- 1. Can I substitute cheese, milk, butter etc. with low fat? 2. Can I eat as much fat as I want? Surely not, that would be too good to be true! 3. How much protein should I eat a day? 4. Is there a book on this method that I should buy? 5. Does it take a while for weight loss to start? You have probably all heard these questions over and over again and apologise for repeating them! Thanks anyone that can help me.
