Hi.
I was diagnosed type 1 over the weekend after getting taken in to hospital with blood of 32.
I'd had classic symptoms but had been in total denial for a good month or more as am only 34 and fit and healthy so couldn't possibly get diabetes!!!
Have learned sooo much in a few days but seems lot left to learn yet! My consultant recommended this site and as I'm still getting used to the idea and trying to get blood stable I thought I'd say Hi!
Be good to have some fellow jabbers to for help and advice!!
