Hi. I joined diabetes.co.uk today and was sent a message asking me to answer a whole lot of questions but I can't find where to put the answers. I was diagnosed type 2 in 2001 and for many years took tabs only. This year have had to add 2 injections daily. Sugar levels were in the 7s but today was 15.8 before breakfast. Any ideas why?

I have the same issue. I find this firum to be very confusing and nit easy to navigate. If there were a diagram and exact areas named in large letters where to find how to navigate.

Hi and welcome to you both,

The site will get easier as you read more. It is an amazing site with amazing people who are very generous with their help and support.

In relation to the high level before breakfast that may have been contributed to by the dawn phenomena- google it- basically the body gives you a bot more glucose at the beginning of the day to help you get out of bed and started after fasting overnight.
It may also have been contributed to by what you ate the night before and if you had any alcohol. Of course things like stress and illness can also contribute.
