Hi, I have been on an antibotic for a water infection and it has made me feel really sick and poorly. The symptoms of diabetes have all come back , really bad sweating, a raging thirst and bad cramps. It has been less than a year since I was first diagnosed and put on medication 4 tabs a day. My last reading was 8.6. . I just can`t get doctor or nurse to take this onboard. All help appreciated. thanks

I have no expert advise to share, but it could be the infection, with the antibiotics starting to have some affect .....this would be a case of feeling worse before you feel better as is often the case , let the antibiotics do their work.....
Hope you feel better soon, take care Kat x keep those fluids up :)

How long are u taking the antibiotic? If the antibiotic is working ur infection will settle down soon & ur sugars will come in range. If the symptoms persist, u may need the antibiotic drug changed. Please look for ur doctor. Take care:)
