I tried Simpkins sugar free ginger biscuits I bought from a local health food shop. But apart from being more expensive than 'ordinary' biscuits they contained twice as many carbohydrates as the Rich Tea biscuits. And they didn't taste good.There are these sugar free biscuits and the blue packets you can often find in the £1 shops and Family Bargains if you have one. Of course it depends if your husband can eat wheat at all.

I forgot to mention, the sugar free biscuits used Xylitol as a sweetener. Didn't know that - one of my cats is quite partial to a bit of cake or biscuit!Probably best not to have Xylitol in the house if you have a cat too, though cats don't eat everything like dogs.
