any bodybuilder or weight lifter here

Hey i am a Diabetic type 1 on insulin. I want to start training just just wanted some advice and what kind of sugar level you start with before exercise. also want to ask others whats there sugar levels like and how is there progress in bodybuilding/weightlifting in terms of muscle gain and what are your sugar levels when muscle building and throughout a normal day?.
