Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
As detailed in another thread I'm just starting out with a Freestyle Libre and using a phone to activate and read it and the LibreView website to look at the results.

Glimp has been mentioned as another App which can read the Libre, and I have installed it on my Android phone, but initially I can't see how to get it to read the Libre.

I also assume that I have to stop the LibreLink App on my phone to stop it taking over and reading the sensor?

Anyway, I'm on a very steep learning curve at the moment so any help is appreciated.

I use Glimp but I know some people find it non-intuitive.
You need LibreLink to start the sensor and after that you just scan/swipe as you do with LibreLink.
I use Glimp because you can calibrate with finger prick readings and they show on the graph.
To add finger prick readings you need to click on the "+" symbol in the top right. This will bring up a page with lots of fields. I just complete the "Glucose" field, ignore the rest and click the save button on the top right.

Bear in mind, this does not integrate with any Libre stuff like LibreView and the information is not shared with Diasend if this is used by your DSN.
