About to get on an international plane tomorrow. Wondering (hoping) its okay to bring my glucose meter and testing kit, which includes the lancing device and spare lancing needles ?

I travel from Canada to Europe a couple a times a year and haven’t had a problem. I just take it out with my phone and place it in the tray when I go
through security.

Ne’er had an issue. Airports see a lot of diabetics.

Hi @dogby,
No problem for me with lancets, needle and syringes and insulin within Oz and travelling internationally.
I would suggest you carry a letter from your doctor stating that you have diabetes and need to carry lancets (+ where relevant syringes, needles, pen device, pump consumables and wear an insulin pump).
I have carried alcohol swabs in hand luggage in the past and never been questioned but if one reads the carry-on luggage policy inflammable fluids are banned. So I take a small packet of non-alcohol wipes or betadine swabs on board to be on the safe side.
Enjoy your trip.
