I've got the same problem with one of my big toes and my podiatrist said that it was likely to be a trapped nerve whilst the Diabetic nurse immediately said it was diabetic neuropathy.  The podiatrist said no as it was only one toe and if neuropathy it would be likely to be be both.  I trust him more than I did her.  I don't know what treatments she suggested but I find Flexitol really effective at dealing with cracked heels.  It takes a couple of days using it both morning and night but it really works.  I think most chemists sell it.   Good luck with it all.  This is a brilliant place for help.</p></blockquote><p></p>
