soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
I'm asking here since there's such a huge spread of knowledge among the group members.
Nothing to do with diabetes.
As I've posted elsewhere, I've just spent a few days on my brother's farm in Wales.
J drove up in foul wet weather last week. I parked my car outside the barn in the farmyard. That evening, my sister-in-law heard a strange noise and went out to investigate. My car was switching its own locks on and off and flashing its interior lights.
the fob was in my bag in the house.
Apparently another guest's car a few weeks ago had done the same thing.
The only clue I have is that there's an overhead power line above the yard. It didn't happen on subsequent nights, but they were dry. Anyone else got any thoughts?

Radio signals, they are all over the place, they will sometimes do that to car electronics.

The overhead power lines also generate electromagnetic waves and these can be worse under arcing conditions (wet weather etc).

The overhead lines even carry data communications and that's another possibility.

It is almost certainly not any of them and is "ysbryd niwl mynydd" playing tricks.

Hi Hana.

Sounds like it could be the start of a faulty module.

I would like to know which vehicle you have so I could give a little more help.

There are many ways to solve this kind of problem. Eg; Key battery. loose connection etc;

If your in the AA or RAC you could call them out as a breakdown (car locked on its own ). Then they give free test.

Also move car from that parking area that is causing problems. and your keys as well as they may be near some other control.

Good Luck.

Roy. :)
