This is a life long condition mate. Manage it and not the other way round!
Don’t ever give or lose heart. The complications waiting down the road are very serious (blindness, kidney failure, amputations, heart disease etc.).
So make sure you control your bg levels regularly.
Make sure you eat healthily (replace white bread with brown bread, reduced carbs means reduced insulin), include high fats (healthy fats) in your diet ie oily fish like salmon, walnuts, olives and olive oils, cold pressed rapeseed oil, chia seeds etc.
No more fizzy drinks, junk food, high carbs etc.
