Anyone on low carb struggling with not getting enough fibre?

I don’t eat any fibre and poop just fine. High fats for me. Fibre bloats me and causes flares of diverticulitis.

I take lactulose regularly. I’ve only ever taken senna prior to colonoscopy…. Wil take note of above and speak to doc

Those recipes sound lovely, will try those yo post fibre intake.

I actually love drinking water …. So that’s one of the least daunting things lol also drink coffee so issues definitely not caused by lack of water

Anyone have the same issue with not getting enough fibre?
In my past life (before 2017, when I first had an A1c test and realised I needed to lower my bg) I was a dedicated healthy living, Mediterranean, low fat, organic where possible eater. I congratulate myself that at the age of 70 I upended my diet completely, and now eat Keto/very low carb, high fat and protein, <20g carbs a day.

Interestingly, while on my low fat Mediterranean diet, which included masses of fibre, I suffered terribly from reflux and constipation. Once I began eating low carb all that went away. The other change I have made which may also be promoting regularity, is to take magnesium capsules and massage my legs with magnesium cream before bed (for better sleep). I do still try to consume some fibre but I don't worry about it.

to relieve constipation. The more likely solutions are moisture or lubrication.
When I ate high carb low fat and suffered terribly from constipation I discovered suppositories. They worked like a charm, very quickly - essentially, as you suggest, as lubrication but also to trigger movement. Nowadays eating low carb, high fat & protein I need neither suppositories nor Rennies. I liked that the suppositories are derived entirely from nothing more sinister than peanuts, and also that I did not need to ingest anything. They can be had over the counter, but also on prescription.
