Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
I have a Lidl/Aldi heart rate sender and watch tucked away somewhere but ideally I would like to monitor and record my heart rate along with my training route, using MapMyRun or similar.

Phones available are Samsung Galaxy S3 and S4.

I was wondering if anyone was using this technology, and if so what products to aim for and which to avoid.

Cheers

I use a bluetooth heart rate band with the map my fitness app on my iphone. It is brilliant. I use the band to keep myself in the right training zone. And add other workouts separately. The band is compatible with gym equipment so it it a great asset.

I bought it via the map my fitness app. It came from the usa and i had to pay customs duty on it. With hindsight i think that all you need is a bluetooth hr band from any sports equipment supplier.
