Anyone using GLP-1s?

Just back from an appointment at clinic, and I have been offered to start using GLP-1s. I think I understand what they will do, but would love any first hand experiences, hints, tips etc..TIA
 
I was on Victosa a few years ago as well as my insulin to try and reduce the amount I was on. If I can remember rightly all it did was reduce my appetite down to nothing, didn't/wouldn't eat anything, used to have to force myself to eat just a small amount. the consultant told me to stop it as they didn't get the effects they thought. That is my experience of it I can't even remember what dose I was on to be fair. I think my reaction to it was not the typical one. Good luck with it.
 
Thank you johnpol. Its good to hear how others managed it- I have to say, I hadn't heard of this way of managing diabetes so its a new one for me. Hope you are happier with your current meds
