Apetina

It is cheese, it will go with anything. Similar to paneer and easy enough to make yourself.

What type of oil is it in? If it is in a natural oil that's fine but if it's in vegetable oil then I would swerve it. It sometimes pays to look at the ingredients lists on packaged foodstuffs too. I personally look for things like starch, soy based ingredients and vegi oils and if these are included then I will not buy them but then - I am getting a bit fussy in my old age!

It’s tasteless, feta does the same job but with flavour!

I've not seen that type, but I sometimes buy a plain version in brine. It melts fairly easily as it's tiny cubes,so it useful where I want a quick bit of cheesy thickener and can just chuck in a few. I've sometimes used it instead of feta in this Diet Doctor recipe - Keto pesto chicken casserole with feta cheese and olives, and in sauce for my "cheat" fish pie. It's not as strong tasting as feta, but it's an occasional quick and easy alternative, and keeps well in its brine.
