Hi Dian, I think you've officially won the bad health lottery I'm afraid. Plenty of T1s have issues with anxiety and depression but very few have to cope with brain cancer as well. I am very lucky to have just had T1 for 50 years.
On the plus side, if you can cope with your other issues then T1 does not have to be a life destroying deal, many of us have coexisted with it for decades and though it's certainly an inconvenience, there are very few life choices that are blocked because of it. And modern treatments for it are genuinely improving rapidly. I would hope that there will be a cure (or treatment as good as) for someone your age in ten or twenty years. (Given up for me, but am happy with current treatment.)
