Avandia withdraw from shelves ?? Help!

I have just read that a company in Canada is going to withdraw Avandia because of high risks of heart failoures. I have been on this drug ( 4mg) for 4/2 months and have recently been prescribed 8mg

I find it works well for me and scared that if they stop it , i will not get a drug which works just as well..

Does anyone have any information on this .. im real concerned :cry:

Avandia is Rosiglitazone and there are plenty of generics of it around. your doctor can prescribe one of them. It's common under its generic name
