Hey, a second thought ... what about your nearest A&E for an emergency pot of strips. After all, it is an emergency if you don't know whats going on with your pump!

Hi

You dont have to use the bolus wizard on the pump. You can if you want use any bg meter and avoid the pump completely. I sometimes use ManageBGL to be my bolus wizard and just enter the bg result into the wizard and it works just as well as bolus wizards on pumps and will also track active insulin from a meal time bolus and adjust the next bolus to allow for active insulin still being present. You can download it to an android phone or just use the website as and when you want.
