Bacon and avocado always go well together, I still think it's hard to beat good old avocado vinaigrette as a starter. Either make your own vinaigrette or if you're feeling lazy there are some good low carb French dressings around (Waitroise Fresh & Fruity at 1.5g/100ml is good). Must try some of those though.
My local greengrocer often has the little ones at 4 for a pound so I grab a load when I can. My little boy lives them as well so I gave to wrestle him for them.
I make a salad with usual green stuff, then add tuna, chopped avocado, loads a different seeds, walnuts and a nice walnut oil dressing with cider vinegar or a squeeze of lemon.. Or with chicken and bacon and the same stuff as above. Lush.
No way would l ever try any of the recipes, not cause l am a bad cook (l am awful) but any avo that hits my hand is eaten in 5seconds....they would never survive long enough to be anything more )
