I was statred on adaminulab (dernatology)last year and really felt low since this and feel like I lost my motivation to excersise and eat carefully. Basically I'm back at what feels the start again. Is it just a case of getting back into good habits or follow the nurse advice who has basically been trying to ram meds after new meds down me? She's been of the opinion from day one it's all about the meds and was bit dismissive of my low carb and refusing statin etc. Would appreciate some advice please. Going for latest lecture from her in half hour so will see what's said and what this new miracle drug is called?
Hy everyone. After my diagnosis with H1ac of 124 about 2018/19 got put on metformin which gave me terrible side effects with days not being able to go far from the loo. Then Sukkarto slow release which is bit better. I joined here and got great advice from some good folk who i notice are still helping new members. Low carb and excersise got me down into the 70s range. Then they put me on Trulicity and I git down unto the 40s and things were good. No side effects at all on injection. Now few things have gone on and bad habits have crept back in culminating in numbers up in 70s. Going today for blood test and the nurse is insisting I take a statin (cholesterol numbers all good) and she's changing me to a stronger medicine( will find out name today).
