I’ve spent the last three weeks on holiday and have had readings in the 5s and low 6s through the day each day.

I was re-diagnosed just before I went away so I don’t have much in the way of a comparison before that.

I went back to work today and my numbers haven’t gone below 6 all day and have spent most of the day above 7. I had one reading above 8.

I’ve not eaten anything different, so it’s not that.

Any thoughts on what’s going on? Stress? Change of routine? Anyone else experienced similar?

Bit of a kick in the teeth after a few weeks of good control.

Lots of things affect bg, not just food.
Stress, even good stress in the form of excitement
Sleep or lack of it, your timings have probably changed
Temperature
Activity or lack of it, you may be moving or sitting more
Etc etc
Give it a couple of week and see if it settles.
Meantime don't worry or keep checking too much, just stay low carb
