It's like I have this block when it comes to injecting I do take insulin to get me thru the day I'm a single mum to a toddler somedays I struggle to move in agony with my back & legs (sure it's related to bad control) if I went to the hospital do you think they'd let me get a pump or do I have no chance? Re: Bad control

Chezzy89, stay strong both for yourself and your little 1. I've struggled for years, but I'm now on a pump waiting list, but still having problems. Best thing is to look at Nice guidelines and see if you meet what's set down.

Re: Bad control

I feel your pain! You really need to let your specialists know what you are going through and if the pump is the best option as it's not for all although it was for me. Ps it's a bit of hard work for a few months before but SO worth it in the end. Also looking at posts on this some areas are difficult and have waiting lists which I had no idea about it was recommended to me and within months it was in me. But there was a girl in my carb counting class who didn't fit the criteria and she was refused. I advise really wanting the pump and putting in the ground work which was lots of testing, recording and carb counting. Good luck
