Bad sugars and ketones

I suffer from very bad blood sugars and in jan 08 i had ketones to they went up to 3.8 thats a lot they have put me on a pump but they are still bad is there anyone like me joei

Used to have monthly hospitalisation due to diabeic keoacidosis, my Hba1c is still atrocious and they keep talking about putting me onto a pump. What advice have they given you about the ketones?

Do you have a good understanding of how to match your insulin with what you are eating? maybe your dieticain could give you a refresher if not.
have you got good support from your diabetes team? have they got any ideas why you can't get control?
