So I tried out for soccer (I live in America) and on the first day I did well and on the second day I decided not to go, There's a trip my history teacher is leading to the east coast of America after the school year and I'm pretty sure I was gonna selected to go even with the diabetes but because of the tics and anxiety that I've been having that I've had I'm now just high on the waiting list so I can "get it sorted out", it Also seems like I'm just annoying to the people around me for the most part and it seems like the majority, if no t the vast majority of things have gone wrong

Heya @mc9 sorry to hear your having a bad week, I sometimes find if one thing goes wrong then it escalates into a bad week, so have to try literally to pick myself up and dust myself down and work at it to make it better. Do you get much support with your type 1 ? Do you generally keep good control in your self management ? Take a big deep breath

You have the same right to go on a trip as non-diabetics! ! A bad day doesn't have to turn into a bad week, I know it takes a lot to wake up and test when you know its going to be off, but remember each day is a new day and you can't change what happened yesterday, but you can do something today!!

No the waiting list for the trip isn't because of my diabetes it's because of the tics and anxiety I've been having, and thank you

Oh ya and my best friend moved away
