@Stemar You posted recently about having a BG of something like 20, then eating 2 slices of toast with bananas and sugar in your tea and then taking a funny turn when out shopping. I'm sorry to sound so blunt about it - but did that not suggest to you that what you'd just eaten wasn't a good food choice for you, especially compounding an already high BG? If you can tolerate eggs, they make a good food for diabetics and a good healthy start to the day and are very versatile in how they can be cooked and used. I haven't been able to tolerate eggs for many years, but have tried them recently as a breakfast choice and find that I do better on them than I expected and now really look forward to them in a morning. My husband got jealous watching me eat them and at weekends he has them now too. Bacon and high meat content sausages are good choices too if you like a cooked breakfast - certainly better for your BG than toast and banana. There are lots of more suitable breakfast choices that fill you up and set you up for the day. Edited for formatting.
