Hello,

I have been doing low carb for two months now. The positive I have seen so far is that I do not have big swings now. My BS goes up by Max 1 mmol after two hrs and many times is already at same level as I started. That could be because carb content is very small .

What I have also noticed is that there seems to some natural resistance for me at around 6.2 - 6.5 level. It doesn't go down any lower except when I fast. But as soon as I eat , it is around that mark .

Is it normal and do I just have to wait for my body's natural BS levels to go down ?

Thanks in advance

Could you provide some readings to explain what you mean here? How low were you seeing when fasting?

Sure.

25/06/2018,05:45,5.2,morning
25/06/2018,11:20,5.2,Had coffee
25/06/2018,14:05,6.7,chicken salad and olives
25/06/2018,18:01,5.2,after coffee
25/06/2018,20:30,5.2,after tennis
25/06/2018,22:20,6.2,after dinner

It is the day after fast. From that point onwards, it has stayed above 6.2.

What I meant was that if my body can have low 5s after fast, why can it not go to that level with low carb too.
